SKATE BOA

Girls Skate BOA: Calling All Aspiring Girl Skaters!

A new initiative designed to bring girl skaters together at BOA Skatepark.

Are you a girl interested in skating and looking for a supportive community? Look no further! We’re excited to introduce Girls Skate BOA, a new initiative designed to bring girl skaters together at BOA Skatepark.

First Sunday Drop-In

Join us on Sunday, 14th April at 10am for our inaugural Girls Skate BOA drop-in session. This initiative, started by @mightygirls_2016, is all about creating a welcoming space for girls to skate together. Local skater @elianawoosnam will be there to help you get started.

Meet Eliana Woosnam

“Hi, my name is Eliana. I’m from Bath and have been skating at Victoria Park in Bath for the last 3 and a half years. I also skate at Bradford on Avon Skatepark as well as parks in Bristol. I study in London and work part-time as a skateboard instructor, where I love helping students learn tricks that develop their street skating abilities, particularly flip tricks and nollie bigspins.”

Eliana will be on hand to guide you, share tips, and help you build confidence in a supportive environment.

Monthly Meet-Ups

Can’t make it to the first session? No worries! Girls Skate BOA will meet every first Sunday of the month, with the next session on 5th May. These drop-ins are not formal lessons but a chance to skate together, build confidence, and support each other.
