WHO IS SKATE BOA?
Skate BOA is a community-led initiative, endorsed by the BOA Town Council, raising and maintaining the profile of the Bradford on Avon skatepark in the local community.
Originally set up to help the council raise funds towards getting a new skatepark built through various fundraising events throughout 2021 & 2022.
After successfully reaching our fundraising target, the skatepark was finally opened in August 2023. We have since decided to continue our efforts by establishing a Community Interest Group, with the aim of fostering a lasting impact around the park.
Our mission is to secure funds and support through contributions and donations to enhance the skatepark’s environment. This includes offering training courses and lessons for park users, as well as organising wheeled sports events at the park. We’re also dedicated to advocating for improved facilities at the skatepark and throughout Poulton Park, aiming to create an exceptional experience for all.

Can you help SkateBOA?
Whether you’re a regular visitor to the park, part of the broader skate community, or a parent, your help is always welcome.
We’re looking for individuals or community groups interested in fundraising and raising awareness or just lending a general hand when it’s needed. Local businesses that can offer donations or host fundraising events are also invaluable to us.
